This is worth the trip out to Memphis.
The Memphis Zoo welcomed 2 new Sumatran tiger cubs last month and after a vote, they were named not only to pay respect to their Indonesian culture, but to honor Dolly Parton and actor Tim Curry.
One cub is named Boneka, meaning Doll in Indonesian to honor Dolly. The 2nd is Kari, which is Indonesian for Curry to honor Tim. The new cubs aren’t out in the Tiger House just yet but they’re growing quickly and expected to make their debut soon.
