Downtown’s “transportainment” is getting more inclusive.
Two local businesses are looking to design accessible pedal taverns that have benches for people who can’t pedal for the extended time and a spot for oversized wheelchairs. These pedal taverns would also include a special lift on the back which will allow wheelchairs off directly onto the sidewalk.
One of the commissioners behind this said “we’re going to fight for your right to party!”
