Leaders in Nashville are taking steps to keep bikers safer on the roads.
New concrete barriers are being installed in parts of downtown and East Nashville to protect bike lanes and help define traffic lanes. These are just a start and more measures are in the works to keep bikers and pedestrians safe on the roads.

Those barriers have been installed as of now along Commerce Street and Davidson Street.
