A different vote will happen later today, this one by Metro Council, voting to decide if a compost and recycling facility should be made in Hermitage.
The facility would be along Andrew Jackson Parkway on land that was once a homeless camp. As of now, the closest facility like this is a 20 minute drive, so this would be convenient for residents and also take a strain off of the neighboring facilities.
