The Los Angeles Angels signed right-hander Taijuan Walker to a minor league contract, according to multiple reports, including mlb.com.
Walker was released by the Phillies earlier this season.
The former All-Star had a tumultuous run in Philadelphia. After signing a four-year, $72 million deal with the Phillies in 2023, he had a 5.12 ERA in three-plus seasons with the organization.
In 2026, he made five appearances, racking up a 9.13 ERA across 22 2/3 innings.
The 33-year-old has a 4.27 career ERA in 256 games (234 starts), spending time with the Seattle Mariners (2013-16, 2020), Arizona Diamondbacks (2017-19), Toronto Blue Jays (2020), New York Mets (2021-22), and Phillies.
