Down in Shelbyville, the police department is making it safer to meet-up for online exchanges.
We’ve seen these “safe meet-up zones” showing up across Middle TN, giving residents a safer, public spot to complete sales from Facebook Marketplace and more. This new spot is right outside the Shelbyville Police Department headquarters, situated right under a live- video recording camera.
The area is well-lit and will be monitored so that everybody feels safe in their transactions.
