Upgraded public transportation may be on the way in Franklin.
A new 10-year plan is being pitched which would include modernized bus stops, service on Sundays, and mobile payment for fares. The Franklin Transit Authority is looking into the major upgrades and will be holding public meetings in the coming weeks to discuss the potential transit plan with the community.
