Plans are in place and Tennessee Performing Arts Center is gearing up for their move to the East Bank.
We now know a little bit more of what they have planned. The new TPAC will be directly next to the pedestrian bridge and will still have 2 theaters, however the facility will be bigger and include 2 different plazas. As of now, they’re also considering an underground parking garage since parking is a major concern.
This will still be quite a while until it’s complete because ground won’t be broken for construction until next year, with everything potentially wrapping up in 2030.
