The Smryna Police Department are warning the community about some suspicious activity around the Kroger on Sam Ridley Parkway. They’ve gotten calls from multiple people about a man approaching women who are sitting in their cars.
He claims that he heard something wrong with their car and he wants to help them, asking them to pop their hood. This video on Instagram has been going viral of a woman telling her story about what happened to her.. you may have seen it. Basically this “clean cut” guy came up to her window, asked her to roll it down and then became very pushy in attempting to get her to pop her hood to “check her oil.”
This is really creepy.. ladies- NEVER EVER EVER open your window or door or hood or anything for any random guy.. please share this, especially with the young drivers in your life who may be more naive.. because we don’t know what this guy wants or what his intentions are.

One thing I’ve always been told is also to not dilly-dally in your car after shopping.. get in, lock the doors and get outta dodge.
