Some new signals and bus lanes are coming to South Nashville.
WeGo and TDOT have joined forces to add bus lanes and smart signals to the Murfreesboro Pike and Thompson Lane intersection. The smart signals are cool because they can detect how far a bus is from another to help keep them evenly spaced.
They’re hoping that this can help keep them flowing in 8 to 10 minute intervals.
