A local woman is paying tribute to the tree she lost in the ice storm.
This is really beautiful.. the woman named Jodi had a gorgeous, old Willow Oak tree that she lovingly named “Walter” in her front yard. It’s been there since at least the ’60s. Unfortunately it came down during the ice storm, but that didn’t stop Jodi from sending it off properly and painting a beautiful portrait of Walter on a piece of the stump that’s waiting to be removed.
