We’ll be able to see this “out of this world” event next month!
The total lunar eclipse will be happen early on Tuesday, March 3rd just before sunrise. This is when Earth will pass between the Sun and the moon, which casts a shadow on the moon’s surface, making it appear red. This is nicknamed a “blood moon.”
Totality of the eclipse will last 58 minutes, beginning at 5:04am!
