If you’ve had some damage from the ice storm, don’t wait.. file a claim immediately.
Experts say that systems across the country are already stressed thanks to this storm so the sooner you can get in your insurance claim, the better. Adjusters are assigned on a first-come, first- serve basis, so if you wait too long to file a claim, you could be waiting a long time to even have somebody come take a look at it and longer to get it repaired.
Take as many pictures and videos of the damage as you can and take steps to prevent further damage, like covering a broken window or a leaking roof.
