If you’re using any kind of space heaters in your home, PLEASE make sure you have working carbon monoxide detectors in your house. About 50 children have been treated for carbon monoxide exposure over the last few days at Monroe Carell Jr Children’s Hospital.
Most just needed a typical treatment and needed a day or 2 of oxygen therapy, luckily. Just a reminder to place your generator outside in a well-ventilated area and never put fuel in it while it’s running. If you have ANY symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning like headache, dizzy, upset stomach.. go the hospital!
