Some local high schoolers got a major surprise and major upgrade the other day.
Football players at Maplewood High received new helmets and shoulder pads thanks to Titans star Jeffrey Simmons and Nashville Community Connections. On Tuesday, Jeffrey showed up at their practice to share the news and work with the team. This could be the little “oomph” they need going into the playoffs.
