Things will look a little different at the Mt Juliet Christmas parade this year.
The parade will travel on a different route this year, starting at West Wilson Middle School and then heading north on Mt Juliet Road, ending at Veteran’s Park on E. Division Street. Only 5 intersections will be affected by this route, rather than the 18 that had to be shut down on the former route.
This year, floats also won’t be allowed to throw candy as to keep kids safe and out of the roadway. People will be walking to give candy and 3rd time’s a charm.. I bet you can guess who the Grand Marshall is.. he’s a pro by now. Our favorite astronaut and Mt Juliet native, Butch Wilmore!
