Congratulations are in order for this local all-girls school.
B.E. Academy for Girls is a finalist in the Yass Prize, which is known as the Pulitzer of Education. If they win, the school would get $1 million to expand their STEAM programs and potentially a new science lab for the girls. B.E. Academy is the only school in Tennessee to be named a finalist for the award and just the 4th in history to get recognition.
