This is a family friendly event you won’t want to miss.
Right outside of downtown Nashville at Fort Negley, Metro Parks is inviting the community to join them for a free fossil dig. Nashville was once covered by ocean water so it’s possible for you to find some fossils in the limestone.
Historical experts will be on site to help with the dig, as well which will run from 10am to 1pm.
