Baby Back Ribs & Rub Recipe
Rack of ribs
2 Tbs of brown sugar
2 tsp of chili powder
1 tsp of paprika
½ tsp of onion powder
½ tsp of garlic powder
½ tsp mustard powder
½ tsp salt
Dash of black pepper
Preheat oven to 275 while prepping ribs.
Remove membrane from back of ribs, pat dry if they are still wet. Sprinkle on rub on both sides making sure its covered. Wrap ribs in aluminum foil and place them in the oven for 1 hour, 45 minutes. After time has expired, remove from oven and baste ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce – I use Sweet Baby Rays. Re-wrap ribs, place back in the oven for 1 hour, 45 minutes. Let ribs rest at least 10 minutes before diving in & enjoy!
*You may want to adjust on the salt, addling a little less or a little more depending on your preference. I think the flavor of this rub is pretty close to Baked Lays BBQ chips.
