YUM YUM SAUCE
- 1/2 cup quality mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tsp ketchup
- 1/2 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 ½ tsp mirin
- 1/2 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp onion powder
- 1 ½ tsp granulated sugar
To use as a salad dressing:
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of water , or until desired consistency is reached
**You may have to adjust on the mirin and rice wine vinegar if its too tangy or not tangy enough**
Additional options: a few drops of Siracha or your favorite hot sauce or even cayenne pepper to up the heat. For a more smokey sauce, consider substituting smoked paprika instead.
Instructions:
Thoroughly combine all the ingredients in a small bowl, cover and chill for 2 hours before serving. Preferably overnight for best flavor results.
Store in an airtight jar or container in the fridge where it will keep for up to a week.
