You’ve heard of a forecast, but what about a BirdCast?
Well it’s the same thing really, it uses weather radar but to expect bird migrations. Here in Tennessee, we’re about to see over 300 million birds migrating over the state. Over at the Warner Parks Nature Center, they’re starting to see migratory birds stopping by to refuel along their way, as well as an uptick in Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.
They host hummingbird banding events on Wednesday mornings if you’re interested in going to see that in person. Details HERE
