Things are gonna look a little different downtown when these are installed.
NDOT is planning to install raptor bollards along Fifth Avenue and Broadway, which would enhance safety for pedestrians and control vehicle access to the area. Right now, Broadway has the bollards along sidewalks, but the raptor bollards are even better because they roll in and out of the ground when needed.
A year-long pilot program will launch later this year and in November, Fifth and Broadway will be closed for 3 weeks while work is done in the area.
