Some local high-schoolers need your help today!
The Franklin High School Band was invited to march in the Tournament of Roses parade on New Year’s Day out in Pasadena, California. The only problem is that’s it’s pretty pricey and would cost the band just shy of $1 million to get all the members and equipment there, as well as house them for the week.
They’ve been fundraising for this, but could still use a good amount to make it happen. There are multiple ways to help them out.. you could take part in their “throwback fruit sale” which is cool because this is how their band in the mid-90s raised enough funds to go to the same parade.
