TWRA Honored A Local Officer With Valor Award For Lifesaving Efforts

Congratulations are in order for a local wildlife officer.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is honoring Officer Dustin Moffitt with their valor award after he jumped into action back in the June flash floods. Officer Moffitt saved 4 people who were trapped in the floodwaters, one of those rescues being perilous after he jumped into the rushing floodwaters to save a man, identified only as Donnie.
