I’d say this is for the best for the kid’s health.. and the teachers’ sanities.
Over in Macon County, the Westside Elementary School in Westmoreland just banned energy drinks on campus. This all happened after some students with elevated heart levels visited the nurse for not feeling well, only for the nurse to find out they all had drank energy drinks before feeling ill.
Letters were sent home and the drinks will now be thrown away if found on a student. Read more on this HERE
