It feels like there’s been an uptick in door-to-door solicitors and one Middle TN town wants to put an end to it.
Over in Smyrna, officials are considering a “do not solicit list” where you would go online and opt out of allowing the visitors at their home. The city already has an ordinance that requires a permit for door-to-door sales.
They’re also urging residents to report any suspicious activity to police and take steps to protect themselves in case a solicitor is actually up to no good. Details HERE
