The Boro Bar and Grill To Close As Owner Announces Retirement

After 40 years, one of Murfreesboro’s oldest venues is closing their doors.

The Boro Bar and Grill across from MTSU just celebrated 4 decades of business and its’ owner will celebrate something equally as amazing very soon.. retirement! Owner Lee Roberts is 76 years old and said he thought it was a good time to hang up the bar towel.

Their last day will be July 5th and they’ll be offering drink specials and an inventory clearance sale until their doors close for good.
