- The original Broadway cast of Hamilton will reunite and perform at the upcoming Tony Awards. Performers include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ariana DeBose, Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Leslie Odom, Jr. Hamilton is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. The Tonys take place on Sunday, June 8th.
- Two airlines are teaming up to make it easier to travel. United and JetBlue are introducing Blue Sky. The program will allow passengers to earn and spend airline miles to use on both carriers. The program is subject to regulatory review, but both airlines are ready to launch Blue Sky this fall.
- Dolly Parton is celebrating another hit! The Dollywood theme park, co-owned by the country legend was named America’s favorite by the National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA). Dollywood received the top honor for the third year in a row, as voted for in the 39th annual NAPHA Amusement Park and Attractions Survey, according to a release from the organization. The theme park beat Disneyland in California, which landed second. Dollywood is located in the Great Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., near where Parton, 79, grew up and opened to the public in 1986. The beloved park spans 165 acres with over 50 rides and attractions, including the popular Big Bear Mountain Roller Coaster and the Wild Eagle, and attracts two million visitors annually. It also has a 35-acre water park. Might be time to plan a trip out to the Great Smoky Mountains!
