A new fee is dividing residents in Lebanon.
A monthly trash fee was proposed at a city council meeting which would have residents paying $20 a month. Residents are concerned about the financial impact this could put on seniors and others in the community.
Trash pickup in Lebanon has been free. Residents would pay $20 a month per bin while businesses would pay $40 per month per bin. They plan on discussing this more at the council’s meeting on June 3rd.
