This is a beautiful story out of Westmoreland.
A small, rural elementary school named Westside Elementary just learned that a $4,000 donation was left to them by a stranger. Mrs Gina Jones was a teacher at Westmoreland High School before passing in March from cancer and is that stranger.
Westside Elementary has never received a donation of that size and they say that the $4,000 could last them for years. Mrs Jones didn’t have a direct connection to the elementary school, but their principal believes that she knew how much they love their students and how much this could help them.
