Starting today, you’ll notice some changes on Antioch Pike.
Crews are creating bike lanes out of 2 of the 4 car lanes and lining them with 350 recycled tires from landfills. The tires will act as barriers and will be installed between Wright Middle School and Glencliff High School.
They’re hoping that this will help pedestrians get to where they’re going safely. They said this shouldn’t impact traffic, but may cause some slowdowns during school dismissal.
