If you’re like me, you’ve had your fall/Halloween decorations up since September 1st because it probably just makes ya happy! Decorating for the holidays is truly good for the soul, so if you haven’t already… LET’S GET STARTED!
As you’ll see at the end of this post, I don’t necessarily keep a consistent theme when decorating throughout my apartment because like a classic Gemini, all my personalities have different vibes.¯_(ツ)_/¯
From classic, to spooky, to cutesy… here are some of the best decorations I’ve found this year! The best part is ALL of these items were $10 or LESS!!
BIG LOTS
– SKELETON MERMAID ($6) & HALLOWEEN GNOME($5)! These were two of the first decorations I saw out at a store this year. Was it August 1st? Yes. Was I leaving without these perfect additions? No way.
PAINTED TREE MARKETPLACE
– GHOST DOG ($5), WOODEN PAINTED WITCH ($10), “SALLY TEMPLE” COASTER ($6), POISON STACKING BOOKS ($10)! The first time my mom took me to this vendor marketplace, we were in there for TWO HOURS! You can find little pieces like these, or clothes, jewelry, and other bigger items! This is somewhere you definitely want to save in your Notes, and I know this will make some of you weirdos (Anna Marie) happy… they already had the Christmas decor out 😉 #OverTheTopHolidayLoversUNITE
TARGET
– SPIDER GARLAND ($3) & METAL CANDY PAIL 3-PACK ($3)! I went into Target for who knows what… what I DO KNOW is they have a great selection of fun decor for under $15!
WALMART
– DIA DE LOS MUERTOS WOODEN HANGING SKULLS, PURPLE ROPE LIGHTS ($9), FLOATING CANDLES ($10), GLITTER PUMPKIN ($1), STICK-ON GOOGLY EYES($2), HALLOWEEN PLUSH GNOME ($5)! Purple rope lights match every Halloween vibe and are a staple for outdoor decorating. I’ll probably end up at Walmart 10 more times before Halloween to get all of the things I couldn’t carry last time.
