They’re home!
After months of delays, yesterday, astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore safely splashed down back on Earth. Both astronauts were smiling ear to ear as they were wheeled away from the spacecraft, I’m sure they’re extremely excited to finally see their families after leaving in June.
Butch got a warm welcome back here in Tennessee where he was born and raised, and is an active member of the Board of Trustees for Tennessee Tech University. The University as well as Mt Juliet Police Department and even Governor Bill Lee made posts on social media welcoming Butch back.
