Here’s an app you’ll wanna download today, especially if the grocery store has been kicking your butt lately with prices.
Goodie Bag is an app that allows restaurants and bakeries to sell their quality, leftover food at major discounts so that it doesn’t go bad and need to be thrown out at the end of the day. So like at Ugly Bagel, some days they have 2030 bagels left to sell and this gives them a space to do that.
The only catch is that you won’t know exactly what you’ll be getting although you will have a hint of what’s inside your bag. The app has only been active in Nashville for about a week, but they’re hoping that even more restaurants will join their network to help prevent food waste and feed local families. Details HERE
