Kinda funny how this week kicks off “Severe Weather Awareness Week” because we’re getting more severe weather, just not the same kind as over the weekend.
TDOT and emergency responders are all gearing up for the snow storm coming tonight. TDOT has salt trucks ready to start preparing over 10,000 miles of roadways for potentially a couple inches of snow.
The problem for the roads will also be that we’re going to stay below freezing for a couple days after the snow so potholes are expected to form. Maybe start making your plans for tomorrow because they say if you don’t need to be on the roads, don’t.
