Ahead of the snow we’ll get overnight into tomorrow, let’s make sure you’re prepared.
There are some things that you should and shouldn’t leave in your car.
First, some things that could be really helpful are of course:
- an ice scraper or snow brush
- a blanket and other winter clothes
- a flashlight
- jumper cables
- portable cell phone charger
- water and non-perishable snacks
All of these things could come in handy in case you get stuck somewhere like on the highway behind an accident or something.
This is a good time to make sure you don’t have any canned items in there, including soups or beverages because they can explode from freezing. Also if you’re a musician, it’s a good idea to take any instruments out.

Also, a reminder to throw some extra gas in the car today, just in case!
