Pet owners are wondering “what’s next?” after a microchip company called “Save This Life” abruptly shut down earlier this week, leaving pets unregistered.
The good news is, local animal centers and vets don’t need you to get a new microchip for your pet, you’ll just need to register the old one again. If you don’t remember what your pet’s registration number is, you can actually bring them to a scanner and get that info so you can re-register them with a new company.
