Finally, plans for some more parking downtown.. oh wait.. we wouldn’t be allowed to use it.
Plans have been drawn up and a new 400 space parking garage is being considered downtown.. which seems great.. right? WRONG. Even if this garage gets built, the public wouldn’t be able to use it because it would be exclusively used for state legislative employees only.
Apparently the employees park in another garage now and say that it’s too dangerous, so if they built this, they wouldn’t have to walk from the garage to the state office building. The craziest part, to me at least, is that it would could $25 million to build. More HERE
