Metro Animal Care and Control is taking a minute to remind pet parents of ways to keep their pets safe during the winter weather.
Pet owners should bring animals inside when the weather drops too low and with Nashville’s tethering ordinance, pet owners are required to bring in vulnerable pets like puppies and nursing animals when it gets below freezing. If you do bring your pet out for a walk, just be sure to check their paws for ice and road salt which can burn them.
