They’ve made their decision..
Just a couple weeks after Cheatham Middle School got a cease and desist letter in the mail from the University of Cincinnati about their mascot, they’ve chosen a new one. They’re now the Cheatham Muskateers!
Yep.. they decided to take the mascot of Cincinnati’s rival, Xavier University! The county athletic director says the university offered to rebrand the school, free of charge which was just one of the things that got their attention. The University also wanted to know more about the students and showed interest in their education and lives.
The new mascot will be fully incorporated by the start of next school year. Details HERE
I think this is rediculous…why stir the pot over a Mascot in another state?
