If you’ve been looking for a way to help East Tennessee Helene victims, here’s where you can take actual MATERIAL donations!
True Rescue in Mt. Juliet. The animal rescue center is taking pet food, towels, and other supplies to help rescue, feed and shelter, and transport animals back here to Tennessee, so they can be safe and cared for, until their owners are back on their feet.
Here’s a list of items rescue leaders posted to their social media:
- Dog/Cat food, any kind, both wet/dry – smaller bags, please for distribution
- Cat litter
- Cat litter boxes
- Dog pee pads
- Towels/blankets
- Paper Towels
- Toilet Paper
- Batteries
- Cleaning supplies of all kinds
- Paper plates/bowls
- Plasticware
- Baby wipes
- Duct tape
- Trash bags, all sizes
- Tarps, all sizes
- Zip ties, all sizes
- Bungee cords
- Gallon jugs of water
- Ziploc bags, all sizes
- Walmart-type bags
Rescue leaders say you can either drop off donations during their Monday through Sunday operating hours of 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., or you can leave them on their front porch.
