1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 cup macaroni noodles
1 cup of milk
4 oz Velveeta Cheese
Salt & Pepper
Melt butter over medium heat, then add flour. Continue stirring until combined for at least a couple of minutes to cook out the taste of the flour. Then add milk (pre-heated milk speeds up the process). Whisk until bubbly making sure not to scorch, add a dash of salt & pepper to taste. When it starts to thicken, reduce heat, add cheese and then stir until you get ribbons and you’re all set! Combine with your noodles, I usually add a little more cracked pepper to finish. Sauce will thicken as it cools.

Yummm! Mac and cheese with Velveeta cheese was my first and I grew up with it. So this takes me back to my childhood. I will definitely be cooking it! Thank you for sharing!
