Today is a day for remembrance as we mark the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and there are ways right here in Middle Tennessee to remember those who were taken from us too soon.
Metro Council is holding a moment of silence at city hall this morning, followed by a ceremony with the firefighters’ union and Metro Fire Department.. the 9/11 Remembered foundation also has a memorial exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame Park today. In Murfreesboro, there’s a ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial on New Salem Highway.
There are also memorial ceremonies planned in Franklin, Columbia, Mt Juliet, Hendersonville, Clarksville and more. Details HERE
