The Paris Paralympics came to a close yesterday, and we have a local medal holder!
Liza Corso is a senior at Lipscomb and took home the bronze medal for the 1500 meter race. Liza has a genetic vision disorder which causes her to not be able to see things really far away and also causes her to not have depth perception.
She even powered through a femur fracture to train for the Paralympics this year and hopes to inspire others to compete, no matter the obstacle. Read more about Liza HERE
