23 years later, and this is a first here in Tennessee.
The St Jude Elementary School out in Hamilton County is the 1st elementary school in the state to host the Freedom Flag honoring 9/11. The event will help educate the younger generation about the history of that day and the 3rd teacher who applied for this actually got the idea because previous students of hers came into class having no idea what 9/11 was.
They’ll have a student event during then day on 9/11 and then open it to the public later that evening. More details HERE
