This is a good lesson in never giving up hope.
A family in Franklin got the surprise of their life when their family dog, Winston, who went missing 3 years ago was found and was actually being fostered in East Nashville.
When the family went to see if the dog was in-fact Winston, they knew when he came up to them slowly, wagging his tail. It seems like Winston was trying to make his way home the whole time, too.. he apparently ran away 8 times from whoever he was staying with before he was surrendered to the Rescue which eventually found his family!
