Speaking of events bringing people to town, this is pretty cool.
The Nashville Sounds announced who will compete in the MLB Home Run Derby X at First Horizon Park next month. Each team has 3 players- a MLB legend, a female star in baseball or softball and then a local baseball icon.
So for instance- this one team, Team Sounds, is Manny Ramirez, who has 555 career home runs, Jocelyn Alo- who was a big college player and now is the first woman on the Savannah Bananas and Kyle Bowers who is a Sounds season ticket member. Details HERE
