Originally from Eastern North Carolina, she prefers the mountains over the beach. She is a self proclaimed “professional fangirl” & LOVES boy bands from the 90’s and 00’s. Fluent in movie quotes, lover of dad jokes, and obsessed with the Grinch. When not on-air, Rose loves to go to concerts and spend time with friends and her fur niece & nephew- 2 cats, Izzie & Winston!

Meet JC!

A New England native, JC has lived in the greater Nashville area since 2019. He’s spent the majority of his time working in the music industry for a few record labels right here in Music City. Prior to Nashville, JC’s radio career had taken him to Boston, Portland Maine, Southern New Hampshire, and Upstate New York. In his free time you can find him on one of his Harley Davidsons or on a boat out at Percy Priest Lake

Meet Doug!

Doug grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and began his radio career in 1986 after spending his senior year of high school as an exchange student in Germany. Moving to Music City in 1998, Doug has been blessed to connect with countless families while hosting radio shows on a few other local stations and is very excited to join the Mix 92.9 family!

When he’s not practicing his German or DJing a wedding, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife, Sheryl, their dog, Jack, along with exploring new restaurants with his son, daughter and son-in-law!

Meet JJ Girard!

JJ’s career in entertainment began in Worcester, MA, where he first made waves in radio broadcasting. With a natural knack for connecting with audiences, he landed in markets from Sacramento to Charleston, S.C., working with renowned radio stations along the way!

Driven by a passion for nurturing talent, he transitioned to Los Angeles where he pivoted into talent management and collaborated with some of the biggest names in TV and film. Now in Nashville, JJ brings that passion and enthusiasm to Mix 92.9! In his down time, JJ enjoys the outdoors, playing golf as much as he can, and seeing all that Middle Tennessee has to offer!

Welcome Back Anna Marie!

Anna Marie is a familiar face and voice at Mix 92.9 and in the Nashville community where she’s been on-air for 25 years! Anna has returned to the team in a part-time capacity to continue as the host of our Public Affairs show, Focus, and to fill-in on air from time to time. Anna and her musician-husband, Ron, are involved with schools, nonprofits and charity events which they often work together – Anna as emcee and Ron as the musical entertainment. Anna loves Christmas, her kitties, interior design, cooking, gardening, and all things pretty!
