The Nashville Zoo now has some national bragging rights.
Yesterday, they became the first organization accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums to hatch a rare lizard species. Two new crocodile tegus hatched in May at the zoo and will be raised behind the scenes at the zoo.
They aren’t like crocodiles, that’s just the pattern on their skin. Check them out HERE
