We’ve talked about scammers after natural disasters, trying to play with people when emotions are high and Murfreesboro Police are taking to social media to set a story straight.
This isn’t in connection with the storms last week, but an image has been going around on social media, mostly facebook, that claims a toddler was found in Murfreesboro. In the post, it claims the boy is being held at the police station.. well, the police are now saying that’s not true.
The police are trying now to find out how the post began circulating. This is the post:
